Terms of Service

These terms explain what you can expect from Incusia and what we expect from you. We tried to write them in plain English instead of legal jargon. If something is unclear, send us an email and we will explain.

What Incusia is

Incusia is an online invoice tool that helps small business owners create invoices, send them to clients, and get paid. We are a software service based in Norway. You access Incusia through your web browser or by using our API.

Your account

When you sign up, you agree to give us accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. If someone else uses your account, that is your responsibility. If you notice unauthorized use, email us immediately.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Incusia. If you are using Incusia for a business, you confirm that you have permission to bind that business to these terms.

What you can do with Incusia

You can use Incusia to run your business. Create invoices, manage clients, track payments, all of it. You keep ownership of everything you put into Incusia. Your client list is yours. Your invoices are yours. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

What you cannot do with Incusia

You cannot use Incusia to do anything illegal. This includes tax evasion, fraud, money laundering, or invoicing for illegal goods and services. You cannot try to break into our systems, scrape data, or interfere with other users. You cannot use Incusia to send spam or harass people.

If you break these rules, we can suspend or close your account without warning.

Payment and billing

If you have a paid plan, you pay monthly or annually depending on what you signed up for. Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise. All payments are processed through Stripe.

If a payment fails, we will try again. If it keeps failing, your account may downgrade to the free tier until you update your payment method.

Your price is locked for the life of your account. The Price Lock Promise below is a binding part of these terms.

The Price Lock Promise (This Is Contractual)

When you sign up for Incusia at a given price, that price is locked for the lifetime of your account. This is not a marketing claim. This is a binding contractual commitment.

Specifically:

• ●If you sign up for Starter at $9/month, you will pay $9/month for as long as your subscription remains active.
• ●If you sign up for Pro at $29/month, you will pay $29/month for as long as your subscription remains active.
• ●If you buy Lifetime at $99, you have permanent access at no additional cost.

We may increase prices for new customers in the future. Your price will not change.

If we ever need to raise prices for existing customers due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (such as material changes to third-party service costs that make the tier unsustainable), we will:

• ●Give you at least 90 days notice by email
• ●Offer you the option to keep your current price for at least 12 more months
• ●Refund any prepaid amounts if you choose to cancel

This clause survives any changes to these Terms. If we modify these Terms in ways that would affect your price lock, the original price you signed up at remains binding.

Your acceptance of these Terms includes acceptance of this Price Lock Promise as a material term of our agreement.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. One click. No hoops. No calls. Cancel anytime with one click. Keep full access until the end of your current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details on requesting a refund.

Changes to Incusia

We add features. We fix bugs. Sometimes we change how things work. If we make significant changes that affect your ability to use Incusia, we will let you know by email.

We will never remove features from a plan you paid for and move them to a higher tier. That is one of our core promises.

Ending your account

You can delete your account whenever you want. We will remove your data within 30 days. We keep some records for tax and legal reasons, but your invoices, clients, and personal information get deleted.

We can end your account if you break these terms. If we do, we will tell you why.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Incusia running smoothly. But we cannot promise it will always work perfectly. If Incusia goes down, we will fix it as fast as we can. We are not responsible for money you lose because of downtime or bugs. You should always keep copies of important invoices.

Changes to these terms

We might update these terms sometimes. If we make important changes, we will email you. Your continued use of Incusia after changes means you accept them. The date at the top shows when these terms were last updated.

The legal small print

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. If we ever have a serious disagreement that we cannot solve by talking, it goes through Norwegian courts.

If a court decides part of these terms is not enforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are the complete agreement between you and Incusia.
